Protean Logic Inc. is a privately
held company originally formed in October of 1994 as VersaTech Electronics to
develop a powerful BASIC language micro-controller. Our first product, the
FBasic TICkit, was introduced in May, 1995 to offer PBasic Stamp I users an
upgrade path for larger and more complex projects.
Protean Logic Inc. is dedicated to
making micro-controllers and their associated technology more accessible to
people by simplifying the development process.
The FBasic language, Protean
Logic's proprietary language, was designed to do just this. Protean Logic Inc.
realizes the amazing potential of micro-controllers for limitless uses and
acknowledges the imagination and creativity of technical and non-technical
people in virtually every field of endeavor. By creating easily used tools and
clear concise programming languages, Protean Logic Inc. hopes to give the
hobbyists, students, hurried technical, and non-technical individuals the
tools and products necessary to utilize micro-controllers in their
applications.
